Chris and Taylor make their grilled baby octopus recipe. Don’t be intimated by these tasty little guys. Grilled baby octopus is a tasty, refreshing meal and very healthy! Great for keto, atkins, and paleo diets. Easy to do! Marinate and throw it on the BBQ.

Grilled Baby Octopus Ingredients:

1/2 lb baby octopus

1 1/2 tbs extra virgin olive oil

1 1/2 tbs white wine

1 lemon

1 clove garlic, chopped

Italian parsely, chopped

1 Dried Chili

Pepper Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions:

Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir until baby octopus is evenly coated. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Pre-heat barbecue to 350 degrees or medium heat. To ensure octopus does not fall through the grill, use a cooking rack. Add octopus to the grill and close the lid. Save the juice because we’re using that at the end! After 2 minutes, lift the lid and flip the octopus. They don’t take long to cook, so just a few minutes on each side is enough. Once the tentacles begin to char just a bit, using the extra juice to coat the octopus. Close the lid for just another minute. Serve hot or cold, whole or chopped…the world is your oyster…or your octopus?
