In 2 Timothy 1:7, the Bible says we did not receive a spirit of fear, but in Psalm 33:8 we also read ‘Let the whole earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.’ The word Awe is defined as a feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder.
