We tend to forget how much time we actually spend at work.
This statement is so important, because when your work environment is toxic or clashes with who you are - the results can be devastating in your personal life. Not only to you, but the ripple effect will eventually reach those around you too. Especially when you don’t actively take charge of your thoughts and potential self-induced negativity.
Mental health is such a crucial factor in your personal growth, and when it is slowly deteriorating due to your constant surroundings, you need to reach a point where you make a change. That doesn’t necessarily mean your immediate surroundings will or need to change, but it can start within, too.
Sometimes all you need is a boost in the way you DECIDE to see your life. And it’s incredible how your choices naturally morph with that decision, too.
Whether you decide to take on a new or different challenge externally or internally, remember that you are always worthy of your best life.
