In this video, I go over YouTube’s history and how it’s gotten to the disastrous state that it is.

This is an old video essay I did back in 2018, right around the time of the Adpocalypse. I’d thought it would be kind of fitting to publish this here–especially after the new FTC rulings. I do hope XOTV can prove to be a viable competitor to YouTube. Obviously, I didn’t know of its existence while making this video.
