Friends of mine
I walked through the barn this morning and was greeted by my old friends, each one different and unique in their own way. History; each one has been a part of my life for many years and I a part of theirs. Partners in life, competition and work.
Everyone of my friends is different in color, personality and how they express themselves to me. What a wonderful life we have together, our morning routines, the enthusiastic greetings, the daily rituals of feeding and care. My friends have taught me so much, day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year. Many of my friends have been with me for over a dozen years or more, steadfast in their friendship and love and I in turn, love them more than I care to admit.
I would like to welcome you to our world, where the day is measured by feeding times, horses ridden, lessons given, stalls cleaned. Come along and see for yourself, I would like you to meet my many friends.
