Travel in the Time of Covid
This Vlog follows my summer journey through Texas and around Colorado as I embark on a series of travel/volunteer opportunities through Workaway. (Workaway is an organization that pairs hosts with volunteers. You help the hosts with whatever they need doing–could be farm work, child care, home maintanance projects, anything)–and they provide housing and usually a certain number of meals in return.) The draw for me was getting to explore parts of Colorado that I hadn’t been to before. The challenge was doing it in a way that wouldn’t spread extra covid germs–and also traveling alone and on a budget!
With this project, I’m “consenting to learn in public” :) Video editing was never my forte in college, and neither was public speaking (or whatever Vlogging is!?), which is why I hope my lovely viewers will engage in constructive dialogue with me as I aspire to become better at both!!
