ABOUT DANIEL CAMP

“Originally a kid from the midwest, I grew up fishing, hiking, and camping out! I was always immersed in nature, thanks to my loving parents. After college, following some epic advice from my dad, I decided to become a whitewater guide. What my dad didn’t expect was that I’d fall head over heels in love with all things related to the seasonal guiding profession. Since then I’ve guided class IV whitewater, guided naturalist ecotours in the Florida Everglades, and managed the largest multi sport outdoor resort in the Midwest! Since my love affair with the world of outdoor recreation started, I’ve only become more enamored by the people, the culture, and the connection we all share through our wild spaces. Now I’m the host of a podcast called “Camping Out with Dan Camp”; a podcast about interesting people, stories, adventures, and their impact in the world, usually through the lens of outdoor adventure! –Daniel Camp
