Ann Phillips started out writing a children’s book, “Friends Are Everywhere: A Gift of Love.” Set on an old plantation, the main character is a handicapped girl whose friends are the animals around her. Ann grew up on the old plantations of South Carolina and draws from that intimate knowledge of these classic properties to enhance her stories. Next, we went on to write “The Lady of Esterbrooke,” a romance also set on a plantation. For her third book, published in January 2020, “A Dude Ranch Mystery: A Killer’s Dream”, Ann had the opportunity to develop a villain. And now, she’s working on a thriller, “Betrayer by Love.” Meet the woman behind the tales.
